Oxalá (or Obatalá) is the highest Orisha in the Yoruba religion, creator of humanity and the Earth, representing peace, purity, and wisdom. He is dressed in white, symbolizing light and spiritual clarity, and is the father of all the orishas. His worship centers on tranquility and unconditional love. 

·        White Color: Everything in his worship is white, symbolizing purity, peace, and spirituality.

• Attributes: He is represented with figures holding an opaxoro (white metal staff), a symbol of authority, wisdom, and the connection between heaven and earth.
• Figure: He represents a wise elder, protector of the head (intelligence) and dreams.
• Syncretism: In Santería, he is syncretized with Our Lady of Mercy.
