Singing Bowl / Tibetan Bowl

Although Tibetan bowls are not traditional instruments in Santería (the Orisha-Ifá tradition) or Cuban Spiritism, they have been incorporated into contemporary religious, esoteric, or syncretic practices due to their vibrational properties.

In these contexts, the Tibetan bowl is primarily used to raise the energetic vibration of a space or person, clearing dense energies and facilitating spiritual connection. Its functions include:

• Clearing Negative Energy: High-frequency sound vibrations are used to break up or dispel negative energies, heavy loads, or "dark entities" in a given space (clearing homes or altars).
• Harmonizing the Space (Sound Smudging): Just as smoke is used, the sound of the bowl cleanses and readjusts the vibration of a place, creating an atmosphere of peace and calm.
• Opening Rituals: They are used to signal the beginning or end of meditations, prayers, or spiritual rituals, functioning similarly to a bell to focus intention.
