Deer Head

The deer head or antlers in Santería and Spiritism are primarily used as a powerful protective amulet to deflect, return, and prevent negative energies and black magic. They represent spiritual connection, strength, and renewal, and are essential for spiritual cleansing and energy purification.

• Protection and Counter-spells: Deer antlers are recognized for their ability to break negative magic spells and ward off bad vibrations.
• Spiritual Cleansings: They are used in spiritual cleansing rituals and in the santiguado to heal spiritual illnesses.
• Renewal and Connection: They symbolize spiritual renewal, similar to the regeneration cycle of their antlers.
• Amulet of Strength: They serve as an allied force on the altar or as a "security measure" to protect the home.
