Clay Jug 10" High X 6" Wide

In Santería (Regla de Ocha), the clay porrón is an element used primarily for the worship, attention, and charging of specific deities, with Elegguá (or Eshu Oti) being one of the main recipients of this vessel.

• Liquid Offering Container: The clay porrón is used to place liquid offerings, with aguardiente (oti) being one of the most common to refresh or "give to drink" to Elegguá.
• Representation of Deities: It is used as a clay/ceramic element that forms part of the working set or the altar (shrine) for minor orishas or the paths of Eshu (especially Eshu Oti, who is associated with alcoholic beverages).
