Olokun Bell Bronze

Measures 7" H x 3.5"W.  In Santería (the Orisha-Ifá tradition), the bronze bell used with Olokun serves primarily to call, invoke, and communicate with this deity, who represents the depths of the ocean, health, stability, and the secrets of the seabed.

• Invocation: It is used to call Olokun's attention at the beginning of prayers, chants (suyeres), or ceremonies.
• Communication: The sound of the bronze helps establish a vibrational connection with the Orisha, who is considered an implacable being but a provider of immense wealth and health.
• Cleansing and Energy: When struck, the sound helps move the energies of the surroundings, cleansing and preparing the space for the presence of the deity.
