Eshu Ashikuelú (or Ashikuelú) is a fundamental orisha in the Orisha-Ifá tradition, known as a powerful guardian associated with the earth, funeral ceremonies, and the guidance of souls to the afterlife (Ará Onú). He is considered inseparable from his staff, Ashiakuabú, and is vital in the consecrations of Orun and Oduduwa.

• Spiritual Role: Works closely with the energy of the dead (Eggun) and the earth.
• Representation (Agboran): An Agboran is a hand-carved wooden figure representing this deity. It represents this orisha as a solid and enduring force.
• Association: Although sometimes grouped with the paths of Eleguá due to his nature as Eshu, Ashikuelú has specific functions linked to the stability of the earth and the control of entities.
