Exu 12" High

Exu figure, 12" tall. Decorative and ritual piece for use in spiritual practices.

Exu is a central deity in Afro-Brazilian religions (Umbanda and Candomblé) and is of Yoruba origin, serving as a fundamental messenger between humans and the orixás. He represents movement, communication, transformation, and the opening of paths. Although sometimes misunderstood and erroneously associated with the Christian devil, Exu is not evil, but rather a neutral and dynamic force.

• Divine Messenger: He acts as the necessary intermediary so that offerings reach the orixás.
• Opener of Paths: He is invoked to protect, guide, and ensure that things follow their course.
• Neutral Energy: His image symbolizes the "vortex" or "sphere" (meaning of Èsù), representing infinity and constant change.
•  Exu in Umbanda: He often manifests as spirits (Exus of work) that help with spiritual cleansing
