Francisca and Francisco 13"

Negro and Negra Francisco and Francisca in the context of Palo Mayombe refers to an important figure, a spirit or entity, that represents the strength and power of the Mayombe branch, associated with the earthly, the dead (nfumbis) and the energies of the mountain, often seen as a guide for protection and spiritual warfare, although it is not a Catholic "saint" like Saint Francis of Assisi, but rather an African entity linked to the Congo tradition, with great power in cauldron rituals and work with the spirits of the ancestors for well-being or harm, being a feared and respected figure within the tradition.
