Shango Metal Tools 6 pc

The metal tools of Shangó (Orisha of thunder, lightning, and justice) are used in Santería to call upon his protection, channel his spiritual power, and pay him homage. These iron attributes represent his strength and his role as a judge

• The Oshe (Double-edged axe): His most iconic symbol. It represents justice, balance, warrior strength, and his ability to overcome difficulties.
• The sword: Represents his authority and power to cut through negativity.
• The lightning bolt or flash: Symbolizes his dominion over storms and his destructive power against injustice.
• The wooden bowl: Although the Orisha resides in a bowl (vessel) made of sacred cedar wood, the metal pieces are placed on top of it along with his lightning stones (otases).
