Matte Red Seed

The red mate seed (often associated with the "heart of Changó" or huayruro-type seeds) is used in Santería and Palo Mayombe primarily for protection, strengthening foundation cauldrons (Nkisi), and attracting good fortune. It is a powerful amulet for personal protection, blocking negative energies, and attracting prosperity.

• Protection and Safeguards: It is used to create amulets of protection against enemies, envy, and bad vibes.
• Strengthening Foundations: It is common in Palo Mayombe cauldron workings (Palero Seeds) and in strengthening orishas such as Shango (or 7 Rays).
• Fortune Rituals: Used in workings to open paths, attract money, and good luck.
• Judgment Rituals: Used in the preparation of petitions with candles to win legal situations or lawsuits
