Saint George (Saint George) - 5.5"

In the Yoruba religion, particularly in Brazilian Candomblé and some variants of Santería, the image of Saint George is syncretized with Ogún, the warrior Orisha, owner of iron, metals, and paths. He represents strength, the fight against adversity, active protection, and victory over obstacles.

• Syncretism with Ogún: Saint George on horseback represents Ogún's defensive aggressiveness, essential for opening paths and protecting the faithful.
• The Warrior: Just like the Catholic saint, Ogún is a tireless warrior who fights against evil, represented by the dragon.
• Protection and Paths: His image is used to ask for protection against enemies and illnesses, and to ensure success in daily struggles.
