Saint Jude Thaddeus 8"

Jude Thaddeus was, according to the New Testament of the Christian Bible,
one of the disciples of Jesus of Nazareth, who was part of the group
 of "the twelve" apostles.

In Afro-Cuban syncretism, Saint Jude Thaddeus , the Catholic apostle of difficult causes, is primarily syncretized with Abbata , the nurse who accompanies the divine physician Inle , associating him with hospital workers and health situations, although he is also linked to the paths of Ogun . His strong popular devotion in Cuba, especially for obtaining visas and overcoming obstacles, makes him a key figure, often depicted with dark skin reflecting the island's mixed heritage, and his followers attribute miracles to him during critical times such as the Special Period.
