San Ramon 5”

5" tall figure of Saint Raymond. Decorative and devotional piece.

Saint Raymond Nonnatus, although a figure of Catholicism, is used in Santería (Yoruba-Afro-Cuban religion) to protect against gossip, slander, and malicious tongues. He is depicted with a padlock on his mouth, which is interpreted as the power to shut mouths, silence enemies, and stop rumors that affect a person's life.

• Protection against Gossip: He is primarily invoked to silence envious or slanderous people.
• Image with Padlock: The main feature of his image is the padlock on his lips, symbolizing the action of silencing those who slander.
